Thank you for downloading Statuscore.

This update fixes a compatibility issue with AMD 7000 series processors (codenamed Zen4), and includes a new simple driver installation script. No more manual driver installations required!

*** DRIVER INSTALLATION ****
Look for a program called 'MSRPCX_Installer.exe' in the driver folder.
Run that and it will prompt you for administrator privileges needed to install the driver.
If something goes wrong, you might end up with an 'Unknown Device' under 'Other Devices' in your device manager. Go ahead and remove it, then proceed to install the driver manually according to the steps below. Thankfully, you'll only need to do this once.

*** MANUAL DRIVER INSTALLATION STEPS ***

Windows 10 and Windows 11:
1. Right-click on the START button and choose 'Device Manager'.
2. Click 'Action' and then choose 'Add legacy hardware'.
3. Click Next.
4. Choose 'Install the hardware that I manually select from a list (Advanced)'.
5. Click Next.
6. Choose 'Show All Devices' and click Next.
7. Click 'Have Disk...'.
8. Browse to the location where you extracted the files and select MSRPCX.inf,
   e.g., C:\Users\<username>\Downloads\Statuscore-23.11.02-certified\x64\driver\win10\MSRPCX.inf.
9. Click OK.
10. The prompt should now indicate you are installing 'x86 Performance Counters'.
11. Click Next.
12. Click Next.
13. Click Finish.

To verify that the driver installed correctly, go to Device Manager and look for 'x86 Performance Counters' under 'System Devices.'
